What is MTA?
The Midlothian Tennis Association (MTA) is a non-profit community tennis association created by a group of avid tennis players in 1999. Our purpose is to grow the game of tennis. A rotating board of directors consisting of a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer administers the organization. We are all unpaid volunteers. We conduct lessons, leagues, tournaments and drills for the people of Midlothian and surrounding areas. We work closely with the MISD, the City of Midlothian Parks and Recreation department and the Midlothian tennis boosters to improve the quality of tennis facilities. MTA also plans and orchestrates social functions for MTA members and non-members. MTA is a member in good standing of the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
