MTA is an all volunteer association. We‚ll need help with the junior lessons and leagues. For the lessons, helpers are directed by the pros to throw balls and organize the kids. For leagues, volunteers monitor one court and help the kids with scoring, positioning and general tennis etiquette.
We also need someone to take pictures during tennis events, lessons & leagues from time to time. We would prefer a digital camera so that pictures can be uploaded to the newspaper and our website. Professional quality is not expected, after all you won‚t be paid for the pictures!
We need people to put signs up in Midlothian and surrounding areas. Our MTA signs should be posted immediately and taken down after leagues start (around September 23rd). Signs can be posted at your residences or businesses.
High school students interested in helping will get community service credit. Parents who volunteer may be eligible for a discount to their child‚s fees.
